「SUPER OPEN STUDIO（S.O.S.）」は、2013年から開催されている、相模原市と町田市・八王子市の一部エリアにあるアーティストのスタジオ（制作場所）をオープン（公開）することに主軸をおいたアート・プロジェクトです。
このプロジェクトには、倉庫や廃工場を改築した20軒を超える共同スタジオに所属する、100人を超えるアーティストが参加しています。
「S.O.S. BOOK」はこの「S.O.S.」のために編まれ、2016年から発行している「BOOK」です。
6冊目にして初のWEB媒体となる『S.O.S. BOOK 2021』では、レンズ付フィルム「写ルンです」を20軒のスタジオに配り、いつも流れている時間を切り取ってもらいました。
SUPER OPEN STUDIO (S.O.S.) is an art project that has been active since 2013, focusing on opening up artist studios in Sagamihara City, and some parts of Machida City and Hachioji City.
Participating in this project are more than 100 artists who are part of more than 20 shared artist studios renovated from storage spaces or defunct factories.
S.O.S. BOOK is a BOOK compiled for S.O.S. that has been published since 2016.
For S.O.S. BOOK 2021, the first online publication of the ongoing sixth-volume series, 20 artist studios received Fujifilm QuickSnaps and captured the flow of time in their own spaces.
